Interview with #makeitvietnam

OMG! I was invited to do an interview with #makeitvietnam sharing my story as an entrepreneur.

First of all, I never did such an interview and I was a bit worried but also excited at the same time.

I had to answer 10 questions and I have to be honest, it was more difficult than I thought to put all my experience and stories into words.

Those questions helped me to reflect on the past four years that I have been in Vietnam following my passion. Especially during the lockdown I had the feeling that I was thrifting. I have been working the whole time, but not being able to see the students or get the social interaction, made it difficult for me to see the improvements.

This interview definitely helped me to break down everything and see each puzzle more clearly, which was a great reminder because too often I am so focused in working and improving, that I forget how far I have come. ✨

After answering all questions, I was and still am really grateful for this whole experience and journey. It not only shaped me as an educator but also as a human. I learned so much from everyone that expressing my gratitude in the interview alone won´t be enough. ❤️

This interview also helped me to review my past mistakes that I did - and I did loads of them. Thinking back, I am ashamed and embarrassed but I also understand that failing and learning from mistakes is an important part of success.

Seeing this article about me and my journey may look like an achievement, but I can guarantee you, that I am far away from being successful. There is still loads for me to learn and whatever I have now is definitely not my credit alone. It is the accumulation of hundreds of people (such as the other two co-founders, team members, students, friends and family) that constantly support me and challenge me to become a better person. So when you read this article, keep in mind: I might be mentioned as one person, but I stand as hundreds of other people that helped me along the journey. 💪
